Bridge Ethereum to Polygon: Access Aave, QuickSwap and Low-Fee DeFi

Bridge ETH and USDC from Ethereum to Polygon for near-zero gas fees. Access Aave, QuickSwap and the full Polygon DeFi ecosystem in one transaction.

Why Polygon?

Polygon is one of the most established Ethereum scaling solutions with a massive DeFi ecosystem. Aave, Compound, QuickSwap, Curve and hundreds of other protocols run on Polygon with deep liquidity.

Gas fees on Polygon are consistently $0.001-0.05, making it one of the cheapest networks for any transaction type. For stablecoin swaps and small trades, the cost is essentially zero.

Polygon also has strong gaming and NFT ecosystems, plus growing institutional adoption through its proof-of-stake architecture.

Bridging Methods

The native Polygon Bridge (PoS Bridge) moves ETH and ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum to Polygon. It requires a checkpoint period of roughly 30 minutes to 2 hours for finality.

Faster alternatives include bridge aggregators like AEXI, which route through the optimal protocol for your specific pair and amount — often completing in 2-10 minutes.

For USDC, Circle CCTP is not yet supported on Polygon, so bridged USDC (USDC.e) is the standard. It is backed 1:1 by USDC locked on Ethereum.

How to Bridge with AEXI

Connect your wallet at app.aexi.cc. Select ETH or USDC on Ethereum as the source and the same token on Polygon as the destination.

AEXI finds the cheapest bridge route across its provider network. Review the total cost, estimated arrival time and the exact amount you will receive.

After confirming, the status page tracks the bridge from deposit through checkpoint to Polygon payout. Most routes complete in 5-15 minutes.

DeFi on Polygon

Once your tokens arrive on Polygon, the full DeFi ecosystem opens up. Aave for lending and borrowing, QuickSwap for token swaps, Curve for stablecoin pools and Balancer for weighted portfolios.

Polygon also supports real-world asset tokenization through partners like Maple Finance and Centrifuge, giving access to yield sources beyond typical crypto-native DeFi.

With gas under a penny, you can interact with protocols freely without thinking about transaction costs — a stark contrast to Ethereum mainnet.
